Elementary

Our elementary classes are a mix of students in grades 4-6.  Students are placed based on their abilities, both academic and social.  The focus in the lower grades is to engender a love of learning, while teaching students to self-regulate and develop appropriate social skills.  Teachers take a multi-sensory and differentiated approach in all subjects using project-based and hands-on learning.

 

The academic focus is based on the California content standards for the grade level while individualizing the academic program to focus on the goals of each student both academically and socially.
